@TP-Link_Deco Okay. Problem is found, after disabling the IPTV(only enabling VLAN) in deco app the ethernet is working now.
Thanks

Hi,
Try with a new cat5e or cat6 cable between the Deco M4 and your computer, ensure the connection between them is good.
Try to reboot all the Deco units as well as your computer.
If none of the above works, connect your computer directly to your modem and check if there is internet access. If not, there might be something wrong with the Ethernet adapter on your computer.
Good days.

I recently updated my deco m4 to the latest firmware version of 1.5.0 Build 20210511 Rel. 34580.
After updating everything is working fine via Wi-fi but in ethernet every now and then i cant connect to the internet and after diagnosing in the adapter settings i get the message ''ethernet doesn't have a valid ip configuration''. this gets solved only when i reboot all the Decos together.

Hi,
Did all the Ethernet devices have the same issue?
And how often did this issue repeat?
If not rebooting the Deco, would disabling and enabling the Ethernet adapter on the laptop help?
In case that the cable might cause the problem, please also change a new Ethernet cable;
Moreover, please also try to reserve the IP address on the Deco for this Ethernet device;
Thank you.

Hi, did this laptop have this issue no matter which Deco it is cabled-in?
Did you have one more Ethernet clients to test whether they have the same issue as well?
Could you please refer to this link to help me check the computer information of your laptop:
