I want to buy an additional powerline adaptor to cover the garage, but having trouble finding a suitable option. The only two options which are available individually in the UK seem to be the outdated TP-Link TL-WPA4220 which only does 300 Mbps, or the overpriced TP-Link TL-WPA8630P. Currently it looks like I'm going to end up buying a starter kit like the TP-Link TL-PA7010PKIT, and not use half of it! Unlike the WPA4220 it has decent speed, and its nearly half the price of the WPA8630P. Why isn't this available just as an add on?

Is there any prospect of this situation changing?

@battles

Good day.

Currently, still only TL-WPA4220 and TL-WPA8630p are sold individually;

As far as I know, in the short term, there is no plan to add more models.

Since the power-line adapters are supposed to work in pair, so normally they would also be sold by kit.

And actually, the price of a single wireless power-line extender is almost the same as the whole kit.

PS: TL-PA7010pkit is not a Wi-Fi kit, TL-WPA7510KIT is;

Thank you very much!
