Hi guys i need help!

I need to add forwared rule for VPN connection to be precise L2TP.

Added 500 UDP and 4500 UDP already but i cant add 1701 UDP.

It shows me message :"Conflicting with existing port: 1701. To avoid conflict, please enter another value."   Im on latest firmware :(

Thanks for the update. Glad to know the issue was resolved, there will be new official firmware in the future to fix it, please wait patiently.

 

BTW, we have updated a solution for this here, others who fail to open the 1701 port on the Archer C80 can have a reference:

May I have the detailed network layout and where is the L2TP VPN server?

 

Kindly show us the Virtual Server settings on the C1900 and ensure there are no existing rules that conflict with the new one.

@Gerby nah i recived new beta firmware from tp-link. I was able to add port but forward didnt worked. I send back router to shop. Bought new one

I'm experiencing this too. This is really a blocking issue. Is there a solution for it, which is not buy a new one?

Do you want to open 1701 for the L2TP server?

 

Can you please also show us the screenshot about the error message when you tried to open the port 1701 on the C80? We will soon check and confirm it.
