Hello guys,

Last week i bought new smartphone - Sony Xperia U, it is with android 4.
Until then I have not any problems.

As soon as i activate wifi on phone - all wifi on router is down, i cannot even ping it over wifi.
Ping via lan interface is ok.

Tried different channels, different max speeds, but nothing works.

Only everything works if i have switch router to be only B/G.

Any help is welcome.

P.S. Tried latest firmware, nothing changes.

Regars,
Nikolay

Nikolay, try other wireless devices. If all others working properly, why not contact your phone's technical support? I think you may need to upgrade the driver for the built-in wireless card of your phone.

As I noted above, this is problem with N mode only. Tried another router, again tp-link, is the same.
Internet is full of those kind of problems with Xperia, Motorola Droid and Motorola Incredible, some models HTC...
Problem is also with netgear routers, dlink too, and another one, but I cannot remember model...

Phone repair/replace is not an option in such and widespread problem.

Strange you do not know of existence of this problem.
