Hi Guys,
I just bought the TL-WDR4300 and the TD-W8970 (i wanted to TD-W8980 but it's not out yet in Australia)
I'm using the TD-W8970 as the connection to the internet.
I'm trying to connect the WDR4300 via WDS to extend the wireless range.
I've followed the following FAQ: http://www.tp-linkru.com/article/?faqid=440
Unfortunately I have not been able to get it working.
I've checked other tutorials online but still no success.
On the WDR4300 status page, the WDS Status displays "Run", however there's no internet connection, both with DHCP on and off.
The WDR4300 is updated with the latest firmware and so is the W8970.
Is this setup possible?
I was hoping the double combination of TP-LINK products will make it easier and compatible to connect.
Any help will be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Your ADSL router modems need to have WDS as well. Both ends need to have it.
you may need to disable the adsl routing and add another regular router that supports adsl. Others may have more in-depth info or even a workaround.
