Guest wlan to VLAN in AP mode in Deco M9+

How the guest wlan isolation has been implemented in AP mode in deco M9 latest firmware for v1 hardware?
Does it have VLAN id and what is it? Why it cannot be set from user interface?

Hi All,
Deco doesn't support VLAN tags in AP mode, and there hasn't been a plan to support this feature yet.
Guest network can already be separated from the Main network via ACL rules in AP mode. If you require Guest Network segregation using VLAN tags, you can achieve this by utilizing Multi-SSIDs with VLAN tags. We have several other models that support multi-SSIDs over VLANs for your reference, such as our home access points TL-WA3001/TL-WA1801, and business APs: Omada Pro WiFi.
Thank you very much for your understanding and support.
Best regards.

@p0s1x correct. But the guest network isn't tagged when using in AP-mode
In this price range I would expect VLAN tagging could be used for guest networks (in AP mode as well). Let's hope they will update the firmware to tag the guest network with 591.Although, it is in the logs, but it doesn't work (checked with wireshark):
Sat Jul 25 11:54:26 2020 user.info root: guest-eth AP role, eth0 eth1 set tag port, vlan id is 591

TP-Link: We really do need to the ability to assign VLAN ID tags to the SSIDs and pass them to the upstream switch(es)/router(s) when the DECO(s) are in AP Mode. Currently, when the DECOs are in AP mode, all traffic egressing the Ethernet port(s) is untagged and it is impossible to determine what traffic is associated with which SSID. These are not inexpensive APs; they should be able to do this. Please provide this capability in an update... Soon.

I own a set of X60s and am equally frustrated by the fact that we can't use VLAN tagging of the guest network when the devices are in AP mode.
@TP-Link_Deco we need this!

You can not be serious? Most of the switches are using VLAN tagging for separating networks. But seems that TP-Links are not meant to be used in such networks. Maybe target audience is just simple home network but why you have then even implemented such poor quality quest network? Clearly device cannot be used in any advanced
level networks and better use some other company products.
