Deco X60 port Forwarding issue

I just bought Deco X60 pack of 3 a week ago. While setting up port forwarding I found this issue.

So far the only workaround I was able to find set ip of the device I need to forward in range of 192.168.0.1/24.
My network settings are 
Range: 192.168.0.1/22
Subnet: 255.255.252.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1
Deco is setup in router mode and as DHCP server.
I was only able to test this issue on android app as I don't own any iOS devices.
Please suggest changes if I have made any configuration errors.

yep, and they just pushed out a new firmware in the last month. Totally unacceptable. I've had tp-link routers for years. Think I'll need to switch.

Can you please also confirm the details, as we need to confirm if the issue is fixed or not on the latest firmware for the X5700? Kindly show us the port forwarding settings on the X5700, especially the subnet mask, you can also refer to the FAQ on the TP-Link website to check the basic port forwarding settings on the Deco app, ensure they are correct:

I have a Deco x20 and am having port forwarding issues. I have a workaround that allows more than a /24 to work (i.e. not limited to 255.255.255.0 netmask), but it's ugly.
Original problem:
Deco set to LAN address of 192.168.3.1 with a netmask of 255.255.252.0 (i.e. a /22)
Linux box on 192.168.0.16, statically set on the device.
DHCP range is 192.168.3.10 to 192.168.3.200 (irrelevant for this setup, but you'll see why this is important below)
Create port forward of port 216 on the WAN to port 22 for local address of 192.168.0.16
Result: netcat (nc) command on an outside device produces different behavior for port 217 to 216. It appears that traffic goes inbound from :216 to the local device (whereas traffic sent to 217 is refused). But the port forward doesn't work! I _think_ that the outbound reply traffic from 192.168.0.16 doesn't make it back across the Deco x20.
If I move the local Linux box from 192.168.0.16 to 192.168.3.16 (again statically set on the device) and
ALSO do an address reservation of 192.168.3.16 on the Deco x20 and
Create port forward of port 216 on the WAN to port 22 for local address of 192.168.3.16
Result: it works.
But! There is a bug in the GUI of the iOS app. When I created the port forward from :216 to 192.168.3.16:22, the iOS app shows it as being 192.168.0.16:22
