OneMesh for Tplink RE450 v2?
OneMesh for Tplink RE450 v2?
Is tplink onemesh available for the RE450 v2 repeater? I have checked the onemesh page but it's not available for RE450. But cheaper repeaters has onemesh functionality.

I just bought AX6000 would form mesh with my existing RE450 v2. But ibam quite disappointed that TP link to hear that it can't upgraded to mesh.
But I show our forum Tp link to confirm RE450 v3 will be upgradable to mesh.
Please advise why RE450 v2 can't be upgradable to mesh? It is appropriate that Tp link to re consider and resolve.it so that I can enjoy mesh. Thanks.

Good day.
Thank you very much for your kind reply.
Till now, there is still no plan for RE450 V2 to be upgradable to mesh.
We would still like to report your feedback to the R&D department for further evaluation.
Really sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you very much!

@thomasor Fck this tplink and the devs, they don't even support a hardware for more than one year. Better to go with ubiquiti

Hi, Thanks for your time and patience.
No, there is still no sign from the engineers that RE450 v2 will support OneMesh.
Thanks a lot for your understanding.

@TP-Link a powerful repeater like this should have the support yes... I have a RE200 that doesn't reach the feet and supports mesh because the RE450 V2 wouldn't support it? I have the RE450 V2 and I also wanted to see it with the mesh support.

Unfortunately we did not hear a plan for RE450 V2 oneMesh firmware, so far only RE450 V4 supports oneMesh feature.
If the model is not listed in the below compatibility list, that means there isn't an existing plan to add OneMesh for that specific model.

Thank you for your feedback.

Hardware is fixed on device when a device being made, so hardware version could not be upgraded Different hardware has corresponding firmwares, V2 need to use V2 firmware, V4 need to use V4 firmware. Currently V2 firmware does support oneMesh yet.
