Model: TL-PA9020P KIT
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: TL-PA9020P(EU_UK_AU)_V3_180511

I have been using a pair of these units for quite a while without issue, to get internet in my studio from the router in my lounge. I bought another to add a NAS in the den, but am having issues with it.

Using tpplc, I can see the existing pair is usually running at 800-1000 Mbps. The unit in the den reports 200-300 Mbps, which might be OK, except that whenever I try to access the NAS, the TP disappears from tpplc, and I get "host unreachable". It often returns after a minute or so, bu sometimes I have to go and reset the TP. All this time, all 3 lights on the TP remain on and green.

Can anyone tell me what's going on? Is this just a flaky connection, even though the powerline LED stays green?

Thanks for any info.

OK, after more testing, there's good & bad news. I unplugged the new TP to try it in the other outlet in the same room, but I didn't switch the power off. When I plugged it into the other outlet, not even the power light comes on. Does that mean it's bricked? I plugged in the second TP from the new pair into the other outlet, and it has similar results, although the speeds reported are slightly better. And I actually managed to stream some audio from the NAS to the studio, but it was buffering a fair bit. Video was pretty much unusable. And tpplc is still reporting it disconnecting often.
