How to downgrade firmware version?
How to downgrade firmware version?
How to downgrade my router TP-Link Archer C6(US) variant to the firmware which it came from factory default?
I am working from home, and this router connections get off on its own. 2.4ghz is disconnecting the devices.
Please tell me how to revert back to the factory version of firmware? i don't want any support for new firmware etc.

"Hello, apologies for getting back too late.
If the PPPoE sometimes got disconnected, please check again if the modem is always stable by connecting a computer to it and dial-up on that computer. Here we take the Windows 10 as an example:
How to set up a PPPoE connection on Windows 10?
If the internet is always working fine and the modem is always stable, please copy the MAC address of your computer and type it into the Archer C6 when you set it up again. You may choose 'Use Custom MAC address' on the Advanced-Internet page.
Let me know if the issue will be resolved, have a nice day."

@Kevin_Z This didn't solved the problem. Plus it is not the only problem, router dropping 2.4ghz signals, rebooting itself, losing connection randomly.
It all worked fine when i had previous version of firmware you can't tell me how to downgrade? is it that hard? i am not happy with current firmware and its not a hardware issue it is just a firmware issue. so kindly guide me to get back the previous firmware.

i am also facing many issues after upgrading new firmware.
old firmware: Archer C60(EU)_V3.0_190115
new firmware: Archer C60(EU)_V3.0_20201231
I upgrade it through button "check for upgrade" which located in router console, i didnt upgrade it manually.
there should be be a solution to downgrade the firmware.

Just wondering what is the model number of your TP-Link router, Archer C6 or C60? If I didn't understand it wrong that the6thplanet resolved his issue by re-installing the latest firmware on his C60, you can find his solution here: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/250010?replyId=560828.
While if your router is Archer C6 v2, and you are experiencing an issue with the 2.4G disconnect, you may try the beta firmware we provided here:
https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/207232
If still doesn't help, please get back with the detail info as we asked on the Forum 207232, then we can continue to help you.

Yes, I'm on that version, but when I try to upload it with the previous FW (Archer C60(EU)_V3.0_190115), it says; Invalid file type.
