@TP-Link Where is the latest firmware? I only see version Deco M9 Plus(EU)_V2_1.5.3_210309 on the website. That version is not solving the problem.

Hi @TP-Link
can you please confirm us which is the version of the new firmware?
My DECOs are up to date (1.5.1 Build 20210126 Rel. 62679) and I can't find the option to manually select the Signal Source for a specific system.
thanks

Hello all. I've 5 m9 deco's spread in the house and I've an internal wired connection available as well. All of them connected via ethernet but somehow one of them randomly goes back to wireless connection after a while giving me a very poor signal as it is quite far away from anyother deco device. Unfortunately as the option to manually select the source is not available it becomes useless with miserable speeds. Any tips to force them to go ethernet only?
Thanks.
Edit: V 1.5.1

Hi, your case is related to another issue: Ethernet backhaul instead of the signal source selection.
Would it be kind for you to start a new thread and provide more details about it:
As for the Ethernet backhaul, would you mind proving a picture of the network topology of the 5*M9 Plus?
I guess there might be a network switch used? If yes, May I know the model number?
Did Deco M9 Plus work under wireless router mode or access point mode?

@TP-Link trying to upgrade the firmware to the Beta but I get the following error message. Is there a latest version of the Beta firmware?
TP-Link wrote
Thanks for all your feedback.
Currently, the official firmware does not support manually choosing the signal source on the Deco system;
There is already a plan to add this feature along with the later firmware upgrade; Please keep attention to the official firmware upgrade;
And before the official firmware release, we have a beta firmware for Deco M9 plus which could help satellite Deco to find the best uplink Deco and optimize its signal source.
So the beta firmware might improve the issue Deco is not getting signal source from the nearest Deco;
Deco M9 plus V1
Deco M9 plus V2
How to update the firmware: https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202012/20201207/Documentation for upgrading Deco system.pdf
How the beta firmware takes effect:
Please go to More>network optimization on the Deco APP; once you press it, Deco would start to analyze and improve the current network structure;
Please note
1.All the Deco models in the network should be updated to this beta firmware, or the optimization feature is unavailable.
2. The beta firmware could be reverted back to the official firmware;
If the beta firmware is not working, please leave me a private message;

Hi, I see that your current firmware is 1.5.2 Build 20210223 Rel. 35265, and did you install any beta firmware on the M9 plus before?
If not, May I know how did you update this firmware?
Thank you.

Hi @TP-Link
You are right that's the firmware version I have. I haven't installed a beta before and tried installing one from this link which is when I got the error (that I have supplied a screenshot for in the original thread)
