Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.8 Build 20200426 rel.65338

I have the ax50 for about 2 days, but im not very happy with it.

The wifi is very unstable sometimes i have 400mbps up and down what i expected to have.

But a minute later it is like 20 or 30 mbps.

When i am on youtube on my computer the player is al the time loading or 360p.

After a while i have a stable connection and everything works fine and after 2-3 minutes it is chreap.

I dont know what i did wrong. I tried other channels but I see no differences.

Can somebody help me?

William

@Williampie98

Hi, thanks for reporting the issue with the AX50 you've encountered.

Do you mean the wireless speed on your computer will drop to 20M-30M after a period of running? How about the wireless negotiation speed between the computer and the AX50 at that time?
How to check the associated/link speed on a wireless client

Does this connection recover automatically or you need to reboot the router? How about the LEDs on the AX50, are they always normal?

What if you connected a computer to the AX50 by an Ethernet cable, with the connection be more stable? Please try to login to the AX50 management page on the Tether app and go to Homecare-QoS, please check and ensure it is on the Standard Mode, then get back to the Clients' page, check all the clients connected to the router and ensure the High Priority is disabled.

BTW, what are the clients or devices connected to the AX50? Are they all encountering the same issue?

Good days.
