appreciate some advice on this ...

 

should i enable this feature on my "deco m9 Plus"

and will it improve my streaming performance ?

You wouldn't need it for normal operation, only if you're frequently streaming or mirroring from devices to things like Apple TV's, Chromecast's or smart TV's etc.
