@Big_Al did you ever receive an email and resolution to this? I've just bought a c80, installed the latest firmware and am receiving the same error of one onemesh compatibility on my wifi extender.

Keen to know if there's a solution.

Cheers

Hi, if you both also encounter the same issue reported by Big_Al, please kindly check the solution we provided in the below thread:

[Solution] TL-WPA8631P Failed to Join OneMesh Network of Archer C80

Let us know if the issue is resolved or not.

@Kevin_Z thanks. I hoped the solution would relate to updated C80 firmware. I'm actually trying to connect the C80 to a RE550 extender (also on the latest firmware). Do you have a similar link for that pairing or should I create a new thread?

@Lewis004

Yes, that would be a different issue if you cannot add the RE550 to the Archer C80 Onemesh network, it would be better to open your own thread, thanks a lot. When opening a new thread, please provide some details, such as the firmware version of the RE550, and what is the error message when you try to add it to the Onemesh network, etc.

@Kevin_Z

Tried this on my C80 as it's not seeing my WPA8631P's (x3 of them) but DOES add RE330 fine and allow the OneMesh to be setup / enabled. Installed the fw on the WPA8631P, still not working for me. I have a support case open (TKID210628021), please see screenshot attached / below demonstrating.

@chrispa

When you tried to enable the Onemesh option on the WPA8631P utility, was there any error message? Try to power off both the C80 and the WPA8631P, power on the C80 first, then the 8631P, check again if they can join the Onemesh network successfully.

BTW, I found your support case had been escalated to the engineers on the system, I think they will contact you soon.
