TD-W8968 as wireless access point
Hi,
Can I use a TD-W8968 as a wireless access point?
I've put it into AP mode, set it's IP to be different to the main modem/route (VR400), but when I try to bridge to my wifi network it remains unconnected.
Will the W8968 only work as an AP when wired? I can't use it in wireless AP mode by setting up bridging?

Hello, may I know the hardware versions of the W8968 and VR400, which are printed on their bottom label?
You may try to configure the WDS function on the W8968 and check if it will connect:

The models are:
TD-W8968 v4.0
and
VR400 AC1200 v2.0
Thank you for your suggestion, I will try this and report back.

JUst to confirm, the TD-W8968 v2 doesn't have WDS as an option. Only Wireless Bridging. This shows the wireless network I wish to connect to, but doesn't make the connection, and fails to act as an access point.
