TP-LINK WR820N Next update?
TP-LINK WR820N Next update?
Hello!
I wanted to ask if the firmware of the TP-Link WR820(NL) V2 is still in progress?
Would like to hear if there's a new update coming soon.
(By the way, I can't find my router in the "Model" field so that I choose WR840N)
Best regards,

Can I make suggestions for the next update?
Things that I noticed:
• Some Devices connected through WiFi are marked as Wired Connection which is kind of irritating
• Automatic update search through the Control Panel might be helpful, too (to avoid wrong firmware update; if possible)
• What about adding custom connection speed? (Like: Device A gets 10Mbit/s and/or Device B gets 30Mbit/s (something like that))
Can you forward the suggestions to the development team, please? That would be awesome :)

Hello again!
I have another suggestion:
• If the WAN cable is connected before the router is turned on the "Internet" LED is still orange (but works). (Maybe fix it if possible)
• Maybe boosting the internet speed somehow when using WAN (if possible)
Thank you again :)

I've found other suggestions:
· Maybe adding DNS Server option/setting
· The login site ("tplinkwifi.net") making more secure by using Let's Encrypt certificates to provide HTTPS (maybe)
Thank you very much again for forwarding!!
