Deco m9 plus v2 update?
Hello, I would like to know if there will be a new update for this version. I bought this product thinking that I would solve my Internet connection problems, and I see that if it fulfills its function but has very limited functions and for the price it has I find that it does not meet the expectations, that is why I speak for many users who need to know if this version will have a new update since it has been many months and we have only received answers avoiding the subject.
Please we need to know if this version will have a new update and especially if you will have concisable improvements

Sorry but I do not consider it resolved.
You should:
1. Make it so that updates can be done from the APP
2. Make the webinterface as promised
Any ETA on either point 1 or 2?

Hello,
The web interface is already available on the latest 1.4.0 version, you may confirm again.
How to log into the web-based interface of my Deco?
Sorry that this 1.4.0 version firmware for the Deco M9 Plus can ONLY by updated via the Upgrade Tool and will not be pushed via the Deco app, but no worries that the later versions will still be pushed on the Deco app, it is just this 1.4.0 version that can only be updated via the Upgrade Tool locally in order to avoid any possibility that the upgrade may fail on the Deco app.
Good days.

Webinterface available in 1.4?
I tried visiting: http://tplinkdeco.net/ and 10.0.0.1 (which is my Deco IP). Both end up in 'This webpage is not available"
I checked the app. The deco has the latest update AND the IP is 10.0.0.1
So please let me know what the problem is then.

@TP-Link_Deco I have my three M9+ units cable connected and setup as Access Point and I have just upgraded to 1.4.0. How do I set up my M9+ set as router/DHCP (VLAN)?

Worked well for me. Defender initially blocked the application and you need to select more info and then run anyway comes up. The tiny text box without a cursor may stump people. Type and it will populate. Thank you for the update.

Hello,
May I know what's the operating system of your computer that is running the Upgrade Tool? Please ensure you downloaded the Upgrade Tool from the official TP-Link website, or you may try to download it from the below link:
https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202007/20200713/M9Plus_2.0_upgrade_tool_v1.1.1_win32.zip
May it help.

Your documentation is not correct. I tried to follow this: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2641/ and never got into my webinterface. After continued searching I found that I can enter the webinterface at https://10.0.0.1 not http://10.0.0.1
From there on you will first get an certificate error and when you bypass this and still enter, you will get what looks like a web interface. However... it's extremely slow. It has quite some errors. It works especially slow in Google Chrome 84.0.4147.105 (latest version) , or it even crashes in Google Chrome
If you want speed, you will have to fire up the old Internet Explorer... luckely I still had that as I also needed a very old laptop to upgrade the Deco to the latest firmware . The update does not run correctly on most Windows 10 computers.
