Deco m9 plus v2 update?
Hello, I would like to know if there will be a new update for this version. I bought this product thinking that I would solve my Internet connection problems, and I see that if it fulfills its function but has very limited functions and for the price it has I find that it does not meet the expectations, that is why I speak for many users who need to know if this version will have a new update since it has been many months and we have only received answers avoiding the subject.
Please we need to know if this version will have a new update and especially if you will have concisable improvements

the update utility for windows (for me and some others - I have tried on two Windows 10 laptops) is not accepting the correct account usernames and passwords. Just says incorrect username and password - even when correct.
it is not a matter thinking we are entering the incorrect details. The same log in details for me work fine with the Deco app.
Others have said it works fine on a Mac computer.
Please investigate getting us the later SP1 firmware update file v69776 from May 13th as shown in the update instructions document or newer.
The version linked is old and from March. Would very much appreciate if you can provide the latest revision.

@xd-data-ii I can confirm the update works on a MAC but not in Windows
For some reason, as metioned, the login is not accepted at a WIN 10 machine but is accepted on a MAC ios Machine.
painfull process if you have only a Windows machine available.
can also confirm the features of the V1 in the app are now available on the V2 one (I have 3 V1's and just added a V2).
now able to see what is connected and how.
hope this helps and hope support will make the WIN version working soon

Hello, can you please confirm again what is your TP-Link ID that showing on your Deco app, as Deco device will remember whether it is in capital or in lower case and that would make difference?
For the later SP1 firmware update file v69776 issue you mentioned, we are sorry that we cannot provide it to you as it is a debug version but not an official one.

TP-Link ID typed is exactly the same and used for my account and in the deco app.
sure it's the same info as I log in here with. That's accepted when I type it in.
there is a problem with the windows version utility program.

I use the same data to login via the IOS updated as with the WIN updater.
as said works on MAC not on WIN so no idea why, and seems others might have the same issue.
Seems all is working as expected after the update btw

Hi all, sorry to respond late.
For the issues or inquiries you guys ask, we will try to clarify one by one:
1. We have recently released a new firmware for the Deco M9 Plus V2, and below is the download link, which is marked Deco M9 Plus(EU)_V2_200324, or Deco M9 Plus(US) _V2_200324 on the local official website:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/deco-m9-plus/#Firmware
2. This new firmware can ONLY be updated via the Upgrade Tool, you cannot update it via web nor on the Deco app. Upgrade Tool can be downloaded from the below link:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/deco-m9-plus/#Utility
3. If someone cannot log into the Upgrade Tool with your TP-Link ID and password, please try to forget your password on your Deco app and login again to confirm it correct:
What if I forget the password of my TP-Link ID?
Note: If you still fail to update or login, please reply with some details, such as what is the computer operating system, what is the error message, it is suggested to try different computers.
Thank you all.
Will it ever be avialable to update via the app? Almost every router I have used recently allows update via the app.
