IGMP snooping/multicasting support
IGMP snooping/multicasting support
Does the Deco M9 support IGMP snooping/multicasting? I have BT TV and it was working fine with my deco M9 mesh network until some time in March. BT have advised that it is related to the router and IGMP snooping. I have swapped back to my BT smart hub and confirmed the TV works with this.

Hello Tp-Link,
I have the same issue with my deco
IGMP keeps turning off after the deco reboots.
I need this as my internet provider TV box is unstable without IGMP.
Please fix it so it stays active! Deco M4 running the latest firmware.

Hi, Nice to see you again.
Have you seen the reply here:

If your IPTV service does not need or support IGMP v3 only, it could not maintain active on the web UI of Deco.
Best regards.

Hi @91stefan, I have installed the last firmware (from 1 month ago), and it has been working for two days (and now it's still working) I was planning to discard the devices and change to another brand, but now I will wait for some days. Maybe the problem was solved with the firmware.
I'll update in some days
