Unable to connect 5GHz on RE200 to Airtel modem. Airtel does not allow selection of channel. Firmware is updated. What can I do?

@Solla-topee - Yes I did try that option manually entering the 5G SSID and add it to RE200. It's not working out as well. The SSID is also enabled for broadcast. PFA.

Hi,
I got the same issue and it would not connect for Airtel Modem. As per TP link customer care, the channel needs to be changed to 44. Airtel customer care team mentioned it is set as Automatic and this cannot be changed. So I am stuck with no solution.

@MuralidharaRao - AirTel folks changed that to 36 for me and then it started working. However, speed was not improved. Just the range got extended. I switched back to auto mode as my purpose was not solved.

Problem is with the WIFI channel. Since there is no option to change from auto, you need to try multiple times, probably at different hours, so that you are lucky enough and the channel selected by auto mode is compatible with RE200.
Since I faced the same issue, after few tries, I could find and connect to 5GHz Airtel wifi.
