I have just bought the Archer X50 router which is a good unit , but has far less options compared to my previous Asus AC68U unit which has a good mac ring fence facility.

The X50 has a different white list option in Access Control which does not appear to work at all in my case.

No hardware will connect to the internet when saved in the white  list .!

When the Access Control is disabled all items connect as normal !

The whole point of the white list should be to  1 ) ring fence your own hardware   2) stop access for  outside /unapproved hardware with non approved mac addresses .

I have many years of building / installing computer equipment and so would ask if a firmware update is pending ?
