Region : Netherlands

Model : Archer C7

Hardware Version : Not Clear

Firmware Version : 3.13.32 Build 130329 Rel.36413n

ISP : Ziggo

Hello,

When my laptop is connected directly with modem of my internet service provider I have stable and fast connection. With speed testing with
www.speedtest.net I get 108 Mbps down and 9 Mbps up speed.
speedtest.ziggo.nlI get 119 Mbps down an 9 Mbps up.
Also downloading large files is fast and during the download speed doesn't change.

When I connect my lapotop (also with my desktop) to Archer c7 (which is than connected with the modem of ISP) I have problem that download speed begins fast and very quick it slow down to 0 Mbps and connection is broken. This happens when I connect to Archer c7 with cable o wifi ( no difference).
Also speed test shows the same. It begins fast (on cable with 119 Mbps ) and very quick it slows down to 0 Mbps and test can´t be finished.
When downloading large files it starts with high speed and after 20 seconds it slow down to 0.
Also when I watch video streaming after couple minutes connection is to slow and video play stops.

What I did to solve this:
- installation of newest firmware.

Any idea.

As far as i know, there is only one firmware at the moment. You can try to turn off the hardware NAT on TP-LINK to see if there is any difference.

I have read other forums regarding the similar issue, there is a solution proved to be efficient in some cases. That is "Bandwidth Control", limit the router's speed according to your contract with ISP.
You may try it.

Has anyone found a solution yet? I’m observing the same problems with two laptops (one running Windows XP, one running Arch Linux). The one running linux has a Ralink RT3090 Wireless PCIe card.

I would be grateful if anyone has an idea how to solve this problem.
