Model: Deco P9
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.4 Build 20191117 Rel. 66543

Hello,

First of all, sorry for my bad english.

Do you know when this long-awaited web interface will finally be activated?
We have heard about it for 4 or 5 months but still nothing.
Does TP-Link intend to maintain occurs? I'm starting to doubt it

Hi,

Could you confirm if the new firmware will be an official release of the existing beta 1.0.2 firmware, or a will it be a newer version?

Thanks.

@FireDZ I wanted to update to the beta but I keep seeing that the firmware is maxing out the router's cpu to %100. Is this going to be the case with the next official firmware release? I'm debating sending mine back for a refund.

@TP-Link_Deco

Thank you for the reply.

I upgraded to the latest version "1.1.0 Build 20200513 Rel. 52023" EU version.

However, the parental control filtering does not work.
ex: Child profile, pornographic sites are always accessible.
It worries me a lot.

And it is not possible to add URLs by ourselves. These are necessarily keywords in a DECO database.
How to ban sites that are not listed ?

@BenJ35

Hi,

What's the website do you want to block? If you enter the whole domain name of the website on the Parental Control>Filter Level page, the website still can't be blocked?

@TP-Link_Deco

Hi.

Youtube is not blocked, for example, when it is launched by the application.
Other sites (youporn, xnxx, etc.) are not blocked at all.
Filtering is managed by keyword in the TPLink database. But wouldn't it be wiser to add the possibility to the owner of blocking certain sites by himself ? We would gain in responsiveness because, even if TPLink is a large company, it cannot manage everything and relying on users would also gain confidence when it comes to filtering.
