VLAN on Deco M9 Plus
I have my three M9+ units cable connected and setup as simple AP. I have changed ISP and would like to bypass their router setting up my M9+ set as router/DHCP. My ISP say "you must be able to setup your router to communicate on VLAN 101". Can someone confirm that this is possible with M9+?

@cacb Thanks for your input. In that thread another person mentioned an IPTV/VLAN option under advanced. I don't have it but maybe I have to be in Rourter mode to see it? Would be great if some one could confirm that. I would like to know if I can configure my M9+ set to VLAN 101 as my ISP demands to bypass their (bad) router completly.
I am on 1.4.2 after the hassel getting on 1.4.0 I got the update easily through the app.

Hello,
Please launch the Deco app and go to Advanced-IPTV/VLAN, where you will see the VLAN settings.
You may also refer to the below instructions:

@TP-Link_Deco Thanks but I don't see it. I am running AP mode right now, does the IPTV/VLAN option only show up under Advanced when I change to Rourter mode?

Hello,
Yes, the Deco needs to be in Router mode if you want to configure the VLAN settings.
Good day.

@TP-Link_Deco Got it, makes sense. And just to 100% sure: the page you refer to mention M5 not M9+ but that is supported too, right?

@TP-Link_Deco Thanks for the feedback, but that link is somewhat confusing. In the article, VLAN and IPTV are 2 different entries. I have 1.4.2 firmware and the latest Deco App + my Deco M9+ in router mode I see a different situation.
Under More >> Advanced there is a single entry called "IPTV/VLAN", not one entry for VLAN and another for IPTV as shown in the linked article. When I click the IPTV/VLAN option, I am presented with the following
This seems to imply that you cannot configure VLAN and at the same time use wired backhaul between Deco units?

Hello,
We will soon update the FAQ which is based on the old Deco app, sorry about that.
As you can see from the notice on the IPTV/VLAN setting page, only enabling IPTV will affect the Ethernet backhaul, while VLAN won't.
Good day.

@TP-Link_Deco Thanks for that but I think you could awoid a lot of these questions by prioritizing update of your guides/Q&As upfront. I am pretty sure the "business case" in that is positive for you. Anyway, please conform the following:
M9+ fully supports VLAN (including VLAN 101; I suppose it's a setting) when connecting the three units via ethernet backhaul.
Thanks

I have my Deco M9+ in Router mode now using VLAN ID 101 as my ISP demands. It works fine. Question: does the VLAN Prority (0 to 7 setting) impact the performance? I have it set to 7 now and tried 1 before but I can't figure out if it makes a difference.
