New Archer C6 wifi 2.4G breaks two times today
Hi,
I just bought a new Archer C6 last week and received it on Friday May 22th.
I bought it because I was using a French Freebox Revolution Server which wifi crashed very often: the wifi disconnected all clients, the SSID was visible with very strong signal but if was not possible to connect that network as WPA or WPA2 passphrase was refused until next reboot.
The Archer C6 is configured as "Access Point" mode and the WAN connection is connected to a LAN connection of the Freebox Revolution Server.
My problem is that, with the Archer C6, I had the same problem with the 2,4G wifi two times today. The only way to restart this wifi is to switch if off then on.
I looked at the log but there was no information about that crash : nothing was logged at time of crash.
Here is the wireless configuration:
Wireless 2.4G:
Wireless Radio is enabled
Network Name (SSID): FBXERNEST2
Security: WPA/WPA2-Personal (Recommended)
Version: WPA2-PSK
Encryption: Auto
Mode: 802.11b/g/n mixed
Channel Width: Auto
Channel: 4
Transmit Power: High
Wireless 5G:
Wireless Radio is enabled
Network Name (SSID): FBXERNEST2_5G
Security: WPA/WPA2-Personal (Recommended)
Version: WPA2-PSK
Encryption: Auto
Mode: 802.11a/n/ac mixed
Channel Width: Auto
Channel: Auto
Transmit Power: High
TxBF,MU-MIMO:
Enabled
All other parameters are in the default configuration.
I noticed that when the problem occurs, some Apple iPad or iPhone were just connected before.
Are there any known problems using Apple iPad or iPhone ?
Is there any good configuration ?
Thanks in advance,
Best regards.
