Archer C6 v2 firmware not updating
Hi, I'm trying to update firmware for my Archer C6 but it says firmware up to date when trying online upgrade method. And when I'm trying manually update the firmware, it's says Invalid File type. Even there is an update available on the Tp-link support download section.
https://www.tp-link.com/in/support/download/archer-c6/v2/#Firmware
What could be the problem that I can't able to upgrade the firmware? And also I can't able to find the installed firmware on the download section. I recenlty purchased the router & this firmware came preinstalled with it.

@coolguy456 please check your router's info on bottom. I got an US version of router here in India from Amazon & the support on tp-link shows EU version of the firmware to download in India. I don't know how they are selling both variant in India & showing only EU version in the support page.
So if you have an US version then change country to US to download/update the firmware.

Have you tried uploading not the latest? After the turn to the newest? If it is impossible, restore to factory settings and check again.

Sorry for the silly question, but I've seen a lot in my life, have you unpacked the .bin file from the .zip archive? :) I have no more ideas :)

@Kreco yes, obviously I've done that. This is not my first ever router. I'm uploading the bin file while updating.
Now it seem to like I need to visit service center for this problem.
