@TP-Link_Deco - what release numbering schema is used?
I'm on Version 1.2.4 Build 20200527 Release 42769 but @LexCali got a beta firmware X60 with a LATER date but a LOWER release number but a SP1/P1 suffix.
The name of that file was "x60-SP1-up-ver1-2-4-P1[20200605-rel38364]_2020-06-05_11.45.24.bin"
I'm located in Sweden and I read somewhere that it was different releases in different regions, unclear where @LexCali is located.
Can you bring some clarity here? Don't want to update to a firmware that isn't compatible nor is older than I already have.
thanks/ahd71

Has this issue been fixed in 1.2.4?
We had an issue today with our guest wifi not working, and there was a surface pro connected to it.
We have 6 Deco's 3 are X60 and 3 are X20, it seems to haev affected all of the devices.

Hi,
This "x60-SP1-up-ver1-2-4-P1[20200605-rel38364]_2020-06-05_11.45.24.bin" is the latest beta firmware, you may give it a go and see if it helps.
Thanks.

Hello, do you mean there is a surface pro in the Deco network and the guest network stopped working?
If so, can you please check some details and we will try to help you out:
1. Is the guest network still broadcasting? What kind of devices are connected to the guest network, are all of them not connecting to it?
2. How about the main wifi, is it still working fine? How about the LED status on all the Deco units?
Thanks.

Six APs is a massive installation! Is this in a commercial facility or spread across multiple buildings?

@LexCali same bs! reboots 5-10 times a day randomly, goes from green to red (have not seen yellow) then back to green when it feels like it. router by ethernet direct to ISP modem and other two satellites via wifi,. garbage system should have stayed with orbi. tplink support has been ZERO help.

I'm running 2 x60's in access point mode behind an ubiquiti edgerouter er-x with openwrt firmware on it. This only started happening recently. They are dropping connection constantly.

@Jwstewart My problem was solved when a while ago with an update to both the DECO and my Surface Pro. (It was so long ago that I don't remember exactly when it happened.) I haven't noticed any issues lately.

Hi, did you still have the unstable issue on the Deco X60?
If yes, could you please help me check the following details so that I could forward your case to the senior engineers later:
1.Would any Deco turn red when the internet dropped?
2.is your network topology like this: ISP- Ubiquiti edge router(Wi-Fi off)---main Deco X60
\---2nd Deco X60
Or ISP- Ubiquiti edge router---main Deco X60~~~Wi-Fi~~~~2nd X60
3.How often did the internet drop out and what did you do to restore the connection?
Thank you.

I ended up putting it in router use for now and it's working like this but I would prefer my other router in front as it has actual features you can figure. And it was isp>edgerouter (no wifi capability in it period) >deco 1>>>wifi connection to deco 2). And no it did not turn red when it lost connectivity. It would still allow devices to connect to it but they would be isolated from the network and have no internet connectivity. If I moved into range of the other one and switched to deco 1 everything went back to normal.
