Hi, Deco does not support changing wireless channels yet.
For the detailed reason, please refer to this link: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/154561?replyId=493338
As for The beta firmware, it is for Bangladesh users only since band 1(channel 36-48) for 5ghz is prohibited here and only band 4(channel 149-165) is allowed;
So if there are no specific issues, like slow speed or network instability, some IOT devices not able to connect, please do not worry about the current channels;
While if there is, please try to provide more details about your current problem and we will check whether it is channel-related and if there are any other suggestions to fix the current issue;
Thank you very much.

@TP-Link
I have bought and recommended plenty of there devices in the USA and have worked fine. I am in a small apartment in Colombia for the next few monts and it is WIFI overload with 60 devices in my WIFI list.
I pay for 120Mbps and from LAN connection it is fast but not from Wifi I get 2.3Mbps on 2.4 and on 5ghz I get 7-9. Everyone is on the same 2 channels.
Also unlike the USA they don't have good return policies unless the device is broken from the factory. So I am stuck with slow WIFI or buy another device.
Maybe there is a different way for the developers to see the issue I would not mind sending any data captures that might help resolve this issue.

@TP-Link Honestly I do not understand the reason for your secretism, the reality is that I adquired a dual band mesh system base on X20 wify 6 and only conect to a congested channel 36.
the result
in a 1Gb fiber channel connection.
Fortunately in Spain there is a Guarranty concept so I'll return the units and will never recommend TP-link, I cannot recommend a product that is 20 times worst than spected.

@TP-Link I recently upgraded to TP-Link X20. I am from Bangladesh. Since band 1 (channel 36-48) for 5ghz is prohibited here and only band 4 (channel 149-165) is allowed, I need a solution for it.

Hi, can we confirm how did you verify the disconnect issue was caused by the channel? Is there any testing method?
If the MS Teams Calls are not working properly, kindly check the suggestions we provided here first:

@TP-Link seriously, 2021 and we can't change the wifi-channel manually? The system does NOT pick the best channel automatically, it's just set on a certain one and is "happy" with it. The channel change is in even the most cheap crap boxes today. I think I'll just return these and buy a pair from a manufacturer that actually listens to their customers.

Absolutely agree, I bought the mesh solution to solve coverage/interference problem for my home.
And without being able to change the channel it is a dumb box.
TP-Link support, you guys really need to rethink your approach on this.
