See under More - WiFi settings, and tap either the SSID or the password, you'll see the option to choose the WiFi Protected Access mode.

I just installed 3 new Deco X20 and now my Apple devices are indicating "weak security" for the Wi-Fi WPA2!
 

I cannot believe that TPLink is asking customers to install a beta version of the firmware to address this issue!

I'm really disappointed with this!

The newest firmware updated the security.  Just do an update and you'll be good to go.

I used the software update and it says the firmware is updated:

1.0.2 Build 202200630 Rel 73505

Still no means to change the Wi-Fi security.

That's odd, I'm currently on 1.4.3 Build 20200918 Rel. 77820.

This thread is about the M9 Plus. You'll need firmware update pages for your X20

@RaiderRodney weird, I'm on 1.2.11 from Sept 2019, and the update function says it's up to date... Huh?

I have the same problem. Running the latest version of Apple iOS 14.2, TP-Link Deco App version 2.4.10 and lastly my Deco M9 Plus system is still on 1.2.11 Build 20190926 Rel. 55727 even after repeatedly trying to update through the app. Any hint og tips to what could stop the update from being available to me? I live in Norway.
