admin password not working for default gateway even after reset
admin password not working for default gateway even after reset
Hi Experts,
I have TL-WR850N router. I want to login to default gateway (http://192.168.0.1/)
Username field is not appearing. There is only password field. I tried password "admin' but it didn;t work. I reset my router and tried "admin" password again. Still it is not working. I also tried accessing through different browser, different device still no success. Please suggest,
TIA

Try to hard reset the TL-WR850N once again, and please hold the reset button/hole for 10s with the router powered on.
And then clear the browser cache and open a new incognito window to give it a go.
Please ensure that there is no capital, it is admin, all in lower case.
Good day.

@Kevin_Z Thank you for your response.
I could see it is getting correctly reset since I need to enter default password to connect to the network. However, no luck with "admin" password on the default gateway. I tried resetting router again, disconnected all devices connected to the router, cleared browser cache. Still not able to see username field on default gateway and password "admin" is not working.
Please let me know if you have further suggestions.

Thanks for your update, glad to hear that it works well now.
May I know how did you make it work? Is it not admin anymore but be something else to log into the web UI?
Good day.
