Firmware Version: 0.9.1 4.16 v0001.0 Build 181213 Rel.33336n(5553)

Hello there,
i just brought this router from my local store few weeks ago. At first it was Ok but day by day its causign may problems.

Problem 1. Sometimes when i reboot my router (because it slows down) it doesnt connects to the internet and shows red light. I tried manually connect , here are my settings right now Connection mode : always On

Auth type : Auto auth

connection type : PPPoE

i unplug the cable and tried to connect with my laptop to see if the internet is ok or not , and my internet was ok.
When i trun off router for few mins then turn on it connects sometimes
i tried Enable SPI Firewall and also disable firewall too. same problem everytime.

Problem 2 : I have 2 modes turned on 5ghz and 2.4 ghz i tried to limit speed to some devices using bandwith control so i reserved 3 Ip 192.168.0.100-103 to my main devices via DHCP adress reservation. but after sometime my 3 devices slows down so i stopped usign that feature.

i Had to reboot every 6 hours to keep my device speed going. is there a fix or anything i can do. please help me out here guys.

When it failed to reconnect to the internet and shows red, please log into the web UI and check whether it has valid internet IP address and gateway.

In the meantime, connect your computer to the modem directly and click here to get the IP address and gateway; after that, please connect it back to the router and log into the web UI to clone pc's MAC address.

As for the bandwidth control, have you ever setup higher priority for the three devices? https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1725/

Besides, you can change the wireless settings to improve the wireless performance, including wireless channel and channel width.

Please ensure that the firmware is up to date also.

Good day.

Hello, for 2.4GHz, you can use channel 1, 6 and 11, channel width as 20MHz.

For 5GHz, you can try channel 36, 40 and 44, channel width as 40MHz.

Besides, you can adjust the location of the router or its antenna.

Good day.
