Archer C60 not giving complete speed
Archer C60 not giving complete speed
When I connect my broadband fiber optic cable directly to my laptop, I get speeds between 100 to 150mbps for downloads. But when I connect the broadband cable to the C60 router and then connect the laptop to C60 router wifi, my speed is limited to 50mbps. I have not setup any QoS settings. Can somebody tell me why is the speed getting limited by the router?

Hi, as replied in #2, the C60 is equipped with 5 10/100 Mbps, 1× 10/100 Mbps WAN Port and 4× 10/100 Mbps LAN Ports, which is going to be a bottleneck for you, it would be better to upgrade to something with a 1GB port if you get a speed of more than 100Mbps.

Hi, the Archer C60 has the 100Mbps LAN ports, which means that the wired speed from Archer C60 won't be higher than 100Mbps.
Interface 4 × 10/100Mbps LAN Ports
1 × 10/100Mbps WAN Port
For the wireless speed, you can change the wireless settings to improve its performance, including wireless channel and channel width. And please ensure that the firmware is up to date.
Good day.

You may go to the TP-Link official website, choose the Hide Filter "Internet Access Ports" as 1Gbps, you will get all the routers that gets more than 100mbps speed:
