I have been noticing that audio, and video is often choppy after I got the new router, and it is rather annoying.

I've been looking at the settings and I cannot see anything that should cause the problems with packet loss.

Taking a computer and a cable and attaching it directly to the router, the packet loss is still present, and after some time the throughput has dropped from 800Mbps to 300mbps on wired cabled connections.

The problems seems to have started after I obtained a 1000/1000Mbps connection.

mtr traceroute, stabilizes around 2% packet loss on the router (192.168.1.1), and if network loads increase, that loss becomes much higher.

suggestions ?
