tplink range extender 2.4ghz isn't appearing on my list of connections only the 5ghz during setup
While trying to set up my tp-link RE305 range extender, the tp-link-extender 2.4Ghz isn't being detected only the 5Ghz is. Also, during the set up, when I connect to the 5Ghz to set up, it doesn't find the connection. I pushed the reset button on the range extender and still the tp-link-extender 2.4Ghz isn't detected neither is it finding the host network when I connect through the 5Ghz. I even tried to find the host network by adding it manually but it's not working. I have attached the picture to understand what i mean.
Can someone help?

Hello, try to update the firmware of the RE305 first. Below is the download link:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/re305/v1/#Firmware
How to update it: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1406/
Then you can configure the RE305 with the main router's wifi password.
What is the model number of the main router as well?
Good day.
