Hi

 

Offlate i have been getting super slow download speed over wifi, whereas when i'm wired the download speed is way better. Even the upload speed is fine, its only the download which has an issue. I have had reset the device as well but of no use. I tried contacting the ISP, they said the problem is with your Router. 

 

Download speed - 4-5 mbps

Upload speed - 70-80 mbps

Also attaching the association speed which i'm getting. 

 

Help pls.

May I know what is the bandwidth you paid for your ISP? 

 

What about the wired speed? Do all the wireless devices have the slow speed issue? 

 

Try to login to the web UI of Archer C20 and customize the wireless settings, for example, you can use channel 1, 6, 11 for 2.4GHz, 40MHz for channel width, and channel 36, 40, 44 for 5GHz, 80Mhz for channel width. 

 

Besides, please ensure that the firmware is up to date.

I'm also having same issue from past 2 weeks with Archer C20. I was using this from last 8 months but had the issue only from last 2 weeks.

My download speed went to 0.5 Mbps on both wired and wireless connections on the router.

If I use my ISP connection directly , there is no issue.

 

So , I thought the router has gone bad and order a new one same model and now that also is having same problem.

 

Looks like its TP link issue as I am seeing same complaints from many users on TP link forums

Same goes for my TP Link Archer C20 V4, checked many blogs related to this but no luck.

@s5sahil es un problema de fabrica es una basura de router no sirve ni actualizando el firmware primera vez que tengo problemas con esta marca.

Is it also C20 v5? Have you tried my previous suggestions to modify the wireless settings on the router?

@s5sahil I unfortunately bought this router and the speed is terrible. I tried changing every setting and it didn't help. I got a refund and bought a better router brand
