Model: Deco P7
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20190704 Rel. 46693

I have an old Samsung TAB 3 running Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) which we want to use as a Netflix TAB in the car.

When I try to connect to my WiFi network, it doesn't work, you can TAB the network name but nothing happens.

Both the main and the guest network.

Is this a known issue and is there a solution?

@Kevin_Z

You are a funny guy 😂

Connect to the Wifi, download the movies from Netflix at home and watch them offline in the car.

But thanks for your help, the fast roaming was the problem. It works!

@FransBas

I have a question first: as far as I know, the Deco is fixed, while the car is not; we usually drive it outside and the connection between the device in the car and the Deco won't be consistent. Why do you want to connect Samsung device to the Deco network and use it in the car?

Besides, how far away between them? Try to move it closer to the main Deco P7. And you can disable fast roaming or turn on 2.4GHz only to give it a go.

May it help.

Haha, sorry I must be overthinking it. I thought you want to use as an online device in the car. laugh

Anyway, it is glad to hear that you figured it out.
