Cannot connect to Post Office Broadband with N600 ADSL+ Modem Router
Cannot connect to Post Office Broadband with N600 ADSL+ Modem Router
I have entered all the details copied from the Post office ZYXEL router they gave me. I cannot get it to connect with the TP-Link router.
I have talked with their tech at the Post office and they do not understand why.
I entered the username as cqu4hp@pobroadband.co.uk and entered the password.
Uses Vci 0/38 PPPoA all details are the same as the Post office router
Dsl light occasionally flashes
Really cannot figure it out.
Any ideas please

Hi, you need to make sure the DSL light is solid on before you install the modem. Please refer to the instruction below to do some troubleshooting first.

What's the model number and hardware version of your modem? Your line is an ADSL line or VDSL line?

Good day,
Thank you very much for your time and patience.
Sorry for the delay.
May I know where are you located and who is your internet service provider?
Have you tried to connect the computer to the modem directly to test the internet connection type, dynamic IP or PPPoE?
By the way, was it the first time to set up the TL-WR940N?
Thanks a lot.

Hi guys . I managed to add router on my network changing IP to static . P.O gateway is 192.168.1.1 the same as my tl wr940n .
Solution : change your router IP from 192.168.1.1 ( used also by P.O) to 192.168.10.1
Wait 1 minut and will work .
If doesn't work just reset and try again
Now i have a different problem , as i installed ddwrt on it but i didn't realised as is an old teh. Cannot reverse to stock firmware . I ve got the webrevert files but no reply from ftfp
