Model: Archer C4000
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 build 20190827 rel.78773(5553)

Good morning. I am having some issues with new archer C4000. I have a 3TB Seagate external HD attached and every other day the drive becomes unavaibable. I notice when I go into the router settings via TP Link IP address, USB Sharing/Advanced/paper icon, I notice the share icon (circle with eye) is grey and should be blue.

So what I have been doing is going into the IP address URL and switching to share so that the drive becomes available to see and use again.  Any setting or way I can have the drive stay on all the time?

Running Windows 10 - running latest firmware.

*2 PC's attached to this drive

ISP - Optimum 400

Attempted Fixes:

Reboot router

Reboot both PCs

Unplug the Hard drive

check firmware of router

I tried calling TP LINK and they have no idea how to help me, the support line is non exsistant.   If anyone has any input or a fix please let me know!   Have a great weekend everyone.

Thanks,

Steve
