Hello,
What is the operating system of your computer? What's the hardware version of the adapter? How did you install the driver? Use the CD ROM or download it from the official website?
Please try to use the adapter on another USB port. If possible, you can change another computer to do a comparison test.
Below is an instruction you can refer to narrow down the issue.

Please change the wireless channel and channel bandwidth of your router, you can change the channel to 36,40 or 48, change the channel width to 80Mhz.
Besides, when you use another device such as a laptop or smartphone in the same place, how many connection speed can you get?

Hi, I got a similar problem.
When I use Archer T4U with Windows 10 PC as a hotspot and connect to it using my phone I got only 192 Mbps Receive/Transmit link speed.
PS. There is no option to choose the 5 GHz band in the Windows setting so I force it by change Wireless Mode in Wireless Adepter Properties in Device Manager to IEEE 802.11ac.
Any solution for this?

I don't think you will get a solution for this issue, as we use this adapter as a wireless receiver to receive the wireless signal from a wireless hotspot, the performance may not be good to use it as a hotspot for the phone.
Just to confirm, how about the link speed between the phone and the hotspot? I will suggest you move the main box of this Windows 10 to a more open place and ensure it can send a better signal.
Good luck.
