Archer C6 v2 EU firmware recovery
Hello,
recently I failed with firmware update my Archer C6 v2 EU. After that, my router became soft bricked. So I tried to perform recovery using TFTP. I set static IP address 192.168.0.66 and renamed ArcherC6v2_eu-up-ver1-2-1-P1[20200110-rel60119].bin to ArcherC6v2_tp_recovery.bin. The router correctly got the file over TFTP, but after restart, router wont boot. Then I tried OpenWRT image and router correctly boot up. COul someone give me an info, how to give back original firmware?
Thanks

@noseran Thank you for your quick reply.
I follow your steps :
I'm stuck on this point :
added pad to the kernel file (the partition is 0x100000, so hex to dec, 1048576 bytes minus the size of kernel (wc -c < os-image
) = #your own value# (so people don't lead into error))
cd firmware
dd if=/dev/zero bs=1 count=#your own value# >> os-image
I have browsed the tplink-safeloader but cannot find the size of os-image.
I have put 574 in "count" value because wc -c < os-image return 1048002.
I've tried to flash from openWRT interface but still the same.
Cannot boot in TPLINK firmware.
I'm able to flash openWRT again via TFTP but not this firmware...
I'm obviously missing something.
Thanks again for you help.
