Hi, it is ok to update the latest firmware from beta firmware;
And just curious, what problems do you have on the beta firmware?
@Lola92 Hi, the beta firmware is ok for Malaysia as well.
Thank you very much.

@TP-Link Hey, actually I've expirienced this problem on the stable firmware too. The problem is that the range extender losts the connection with the main router, in order to solve the problem I've to unpglug and plug it back in the power supply.
I've fixed this issue turning off the high speed feature.

Hi, Sorry for the delay.
This is the first time that we had this feedback and could you please help me check the following details:
1. What is the original firmware before you upgrade the RE305 v3?
2. Can I have a picture of the bottom label on the RE305?
3. Is there any power outage or any abnormal behavior during the firmware update?
4.By the way, how long have you had the RE305?
Thanks a lot for your understanding and support.
Wait for your reply.

If i remember correctly was 1.1.2
2. Can I have a picture of the bottom label on the RE305?
3. Is there any power outage or any abnormal behavior during the firmware update?
No, Usual message that device is restarting. i waited for 40-50 minutes before i try anything (e.g. turn it off and on, reset)
4.By the way, how long have you had the RE305?
Its still on warranty (bought it 5/2020) but it will take few weeks for replacement ..if i manage to get it to service due to lockdown here in Greece

Thank you very much for your kind reply.
After checking with the senior engineers, I am afraid that there is no other suggestion yet.
As for the beta firmware, we have confirmed that there is no obvious issue since we tested on our side and also with some customers, all proved fine.
And you might need to wait for the replacement.
Really sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks a lot for your understanding and support.
