@Yairkoren88 Normally, there is no necessary to manually disable the DHCP server on RE200, once it connect to your router and detect the DHCP server on your router, then it will turn off its own automatically. And all the clients connect to RE200 will obtain IP address from the router DHCP server.
but maybe you could share why you need to disable the DHCP on RE200.

Thank you for the answer. I want to disable it because in later version of RE200, V2, i once didn't turned it off and than the whole network was a mess because the DHCP was on.I just wanted to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Do you know a way to disable it?

Hello, when you switch the RE200 to the access point, you can login to the web UI and go to settings-LAN settings page to verify whether you can find the DHCP server option.
Good day.

hi, there is no opton even on ap mode.
i have the same problem,
some times , because for some reason, the dhcp offer by re200 seems to trouble the network.
i should be a firmware thing, it should have that option.. tp-link should not assume that there is no problem with the dhcp option being auto mode.

It is very annoying working as access point mode and with fixed IP-address, every 30 seconds RE200 v3 is doing DHCPDISCOVER. Why?
DHCP logs are unuseful with so much rubbish.
Please: fix it.

Besides, my dhcp server is running in a microSD, it should not be writing so frequently, SD will get crashed again.

There is no option to disable the DHCP Server on the RE205. I have the same problem with my network. I'm running a Netgear D6300 as my router and DHCP, etc. Whenever I plug one of the RE205s in, my router stops responding. If I wait a minute, remove the LAN cable from the RE205, then plug it back in, the router comes back to life and the WAP works as expected. The RE205 is running the latest firmware, is set with a static IP and is in access point mode. Really need an option to stop it's DHCP discovery process completely, as it is not workable in this state and if there is no fix, I will have to return them and find another vendor.

Good day.
It would be better if you could write in English so that everyone could give some advice to you, thank you!
Good day,
Sorry for the delay,
Is your range extender RE200(EU)_V3_190731?
And what is the model number of your wireless router by the way?
Could you please provide more details about your current issue so that we could forward your case to our senior engineers.
Thank you very much.

@Solla-topee I am in the same position, I want to turn off the DHCP server on my RE200, the reason for this is simple. If I ever need to reboot my router the DHCP on the RE200 takes over, then i need to unplug the RE200 just to get my network working. This is soemthing that should be easy to disable but instead it is stuck to on and cannot be disabled.
