TL-WPA4220 - WiFi functionality hangs after a day or so
Hi,
I have a problem with WiFi functionality. After a day (sometimes later, sometimes earlier) WiFi network disapears. eg. is no working and any device can see it anymore. The connection through ethernet cabel is still working. So it's something wrong with WiFi functionality I guess. If you plug-off and plug-it again, it strats working. Constantly reboot the device is not a solution in my case.
I see many users post the same issue here for weeks(!) with no helpful reaction :-(.
Have you got any solution?
Firmware version: 4.0.3 Build 20190326 Rel.43406
Hardware version: TL-WPA4220 v4.0
TP-LINK Team, could you be so kind and advise what should I do to use your product?

Hi, All.
Thank you very much for your continuous concern about this case.
Recently, we had several feedbacks that once TL-WPA4220 updated to the latest firmware, the internet connection would be very unstable such as not connecting to the Wi-Fi, and/or the Wi-Fi just disappearing.
If you had a similar issue, we suggested that you could roll back to the previous firmware: https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202010/20201030/TL-WPA4220_180308.zip to have a look.
And if it did not make any difference, please feel free to update here or send me a private message.
Thanks a lot.

@Gajowy Hi I am also having this problem. Every few days the unit will stop working - i.e. it is not accessible over wifi and it stops broadcasting its SSID. It doesn’t respond to a ping over the powerline connection either. All LEDs are lit as normal. The only way to get it working again is to switch the unit off and on again which isn't practical.
Sometimes the unit can run for days without an issue and will then suddenly fail.
Firmware is the same - 4.03 20190326 rel 43406.
Can anyone help troubleshoot this problem. I've read in some forums memory management of the firmware is to blame but that seems to relate to older firmware versions. This is really inconvenient and puts me off buying other devices to expand the network. I have another WPA 4220 units that works ok though it is V3.
Many thanks.
