Did you get this error massage from the Easy setup assistant by running the disc?
If so, 045 means "bad encapsulation mode. please check it again"

When i was on the internet the internet just went and sisnt come back. I tried doing the set up again but it didnt work. When i plug in my old ADSL modem it worked fine anc connedted to the internet but my old modem is slow so i bought TP-Links one and now it doesnt work. Please help.

Yes i tried that to to but it didnt work. None of the LED lights are on apart from the Wireless, power and the Ethernet light. The ADSL light blinks 3 times slowly and then doesnt light up again for about 2 minuets.

Please try to do reset to factory default and you'll write http://192.168.1.1 in your internet browser and then you'll see the login panel.

I have already done that 3 times over and over again and it still doesnt connect to the internet.

Your connection with router is by the ethernet cable? What is your operating system?
After factory reset you have to make configuring your router, then you'll have access to the internet.

The thing i dont get is that when i plug in my old modem it works fine with a stable connection but when i plug in the TP-Link it doesnt connect.
