recommended 4g / 4g+ / 5g usb adapter for UK
can anyone recommend me a known working usb modem that'll work with uk networks like three or ee on my vr2800*?
preferably as fast as possible, but *reliable*
i looked on the tplink list but it's blank for most countries :-/
*it might be a vr2800v. who knows. it has a vdsl socket on.

Hello, you can find the model number on the back of the actual device.
For the Archer VR2800, it does support 3/4G router mode; while we have not tested the compatibility of USB modem yet; that is why you cannot find such information. And we suggest you to use it in DSL modem router mode or regular wireless router mode to gett better performance.
If you want to use USB modem/sim card to get internet, it is suggested to use 3/4G router, like Archer MR200, Archer MR600.
Besides, you can read this post to get more details.

May it help.

@Kevin_Z none of that answers my question. it is a vr2800 now i checked 100%. i already have a vdsl connection. a very good one. but i want a 4g as secondary backup connection.
so in the packaging and in the instructions and in the web interface... where it says... connect a 3g/4g modem...
...this is not possible and all the info is lies?

Agreed,
3g/4g doesnt work on VR2800. I think I've also been sold a lemon. Spend ages trying to get tp-link 4g LTE Mobile Wifi M7000 to work with VR2800...... Not a chance.

Do you mean you want to connect the M7000 to the VR2800? M7000 is a 4G mobile Wi-Fi router, it can provide you a wireless connection, how do you want to connect it to the VR2800?
