Archer AX6000 IPv6 firewall
Archer AX6000 IPv6 firewall
Hey,
How can I open IPv6 ports to access LAN IPv6 addresses from the internet? Doesn't seem to be possible in any easy way, at least. Even when the SPI firewall option is disabled, all incoming IPv6 connections including ICMPv6 (required to be working by the IPv6 standard) are blocked.
If the firmware doesn't support this, will it be fixed in the future? In its current state the router seems to have a crippled IPv6 support.

We are expecting the new firmware for it as well. You will need to contact the local tech support if you want to replace the router.

@Kevin_Z Any news on that firmware? Coming up on 2022, firmware updates have come out, no IPv6 firewall controls, just an unconfigurable block-all.

@lokiscarlet I am using another router with openwrt, I will try that at the weekend and see if something has changed. Probably nothing changed. I will see. (Better waiting until 2022!!)

It won't ever come, like the other features they promised.

@Aashish_AS Figures. But that's what I get for buying a cheap router. I'll just have to build my own next.
