Archer AX6000 IPv6 firewall
Archer AX6000 IPv6 firewall
Hey,
How can I open IPv6 ports to access LAN IPv6 addresses from the internet? Doesn't seem to be possible in any easy way, at least. Even when the SPI firewall option is disabled, all incoming IPv6 connections including ICMPv6 (required to be working by the IPv6 standard) are blocked.
If the firmware doesn't support this, will it be fixed in the future? In its current state the router seems to have a crippled IPv6 support.

Hello, sorry to tell you that there is no option to satisfy your needs now.
The IPV6 firewall is enabled by default, which is designed so; that is why the incoming IPV6 data were blocked.
Have a nice day.

I also need to manage the firewall for IPv6 connections on this router. My provider uses CGNAT for IPv4 connections and the only way to access my network is through IPv6, however this router is blocking requests and does not allow management. I request that options be added to the web interface for this.

Hi, this request had been noted, and we have feedback to the related department. It would be included in the future firmware updates.

@Kevin_Z I have purchased an ax1800 router and fall into this same issue. Asus routers provide duel Wan and full ipv6 control in this same price range. I will write a post on my Country's community groups highlighting these issues.

When can we expect the new firmware, that allows for incoming ipv6 traffic?
one week, one month, half a year?
Hopefully, I can get a decent price for my used AX6000, and get another brand that really suuports ipv6...
