It said that it wouls give me 750 mbps, and before when i tried using ethernet against the pc i had like 500 mbps. Now when i have ethernet connected to the range extender i only get like 50 mbps

Hello AC750 is the wireless link speed, not the actual speed this extender can get. And RE200 has the 100Mbps LAN ports.

The actual speed is decided by many factors: the bandwidth you paid, the main router, distance and obstacles or so.
What is the bandwidth you paid for your ISP? Next to the RE200, what is the speed you can get from the main router's wifi?
You can optimize the wireless settings of the main router to improve the wifi performance; and please ensure that the firmware is up tp date.
