AC2300 random link disconnection
I have a Archer AC2300.
Occasionaly it disconnects from the internet link and only reboot makes it resync. I'm talking about wired and wireless (not just wifi).
Would appreciate any suggestions.

I do have a bluetooth headset frequently connected to my PC
But its the 5Ghz network that gets the issue
Although to update you all SPI was the issue, its been 24h without a drop of WIFI, bluetooth on or not

@thornton
Great! is good to have as many as possible involved.
I got the router around Jun 27, 2019, so almost one year ago. And like I said its only last month and this month that issues has arise.
It's all a bit strange all of this. How the router from nowhere starts behaving like this. I would get it, if it where a specific component in the router that was causing this. But thats unlikely there would be no connection at all.
My logical guess is that some software on our devices connected to the router is communicating in a new way that's causing bugs to be exposed in the routers firmware.
Either that or there's some sort of buffer overload which takes a hell of long time to reach the point in where connections are lost/dropped.
Both scenarios could be fixed with a firmware update.

Hmm, I would contact support about that due. SPI is a important future and should be turned on. Get something like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vrem.wifianalyzer and check how many WiFi spot you have around you.

I've upgraded to the beta version now. Let's see how that one holds now.
I've asked TPL support if this version is based off the "latest" official FW from 2018 but they didn't answer on that, just that the beta I downloaded 2 months ago
is the latest (which I knew already as you got the same one just recently).
Will update if I get disconnections again.
UPDATE: I emailed with TPL support and he wasn't sure what the beta is based on and asked for a UI picture. Following that he has confirmed this firmware is based on the latest one, so it supports SMB v2 and HomeCare features, etc.

You can get it from TP-link supprt if you email them. The link I got at the time is dead.
But here it is (I picked the first file sharing service that showed up in search):

After less than 24h with the beta fw, things got worst...huge delays during video call, a lot of intreruptions during voice calls...I've tried to disable all the "fancy" stuff that might have cause any memory/processor consumption...tried different serttings for wifi but no luck. Tested the wifi signal from the same distance and has high variations.
I think this is the last tp-link product that I'll ever buy...the lifetime support does not look promising...no fw update (stable) for the last 2 years ?!
