TV connection through wired port of TL-WA830RE

Hi. Can someone tell me if I bought a TL-WA830RE and configured it as an extender, would I be able to connect a Samsung TV to the internet/home network via the wired port of the unit? The TL-WA830RE is the same price as a wireless dongle from Samsung and it would suit me to use this setup temporarily until I run a direct hard wire to the TV as I'd be able to use the TL-WA830RE as a simple extender elsewhere afterwards (whereas a dongle would be redundant).
